When GPS and the link fail
Autonomy and navigation
Robots that keep doing their job when communication is limited or lost.
Robotics, autonomy, navigation and simulation.
A warehouse, a field and a forest are very different places with one thing in common: the machine moving through them cannot count on the world being perfect. Communication degrades, satellite positioning is unavailable, obstructed or jammed, and sensors are imprecise. We work on autonomy for those conditions.
When GPS and the link fail
Robots that keep doing their job when communication is limited or lost.
When many entities share one task
A shared world where people, crewed vehicles and robots of any type and origin, real or virtual, cooperate and interact.
When the field is too risky to rehearse in
We are working towards one interface to oversee and direct the entities in that world: operations, training, what-if analysis and experiments.
When the requirements are not clear yet
Analysis first, then design, build, test and improve, with simulation and rapid prototyping throughout. We state only capabilities we have demonstrated and tested.
